The speakers gave examples of public fleets utilizing their vehicles and how to help fund them, and the Electrification Coalition provided additional information on the technical assistance available through the Collaborative. Electric street sweepers reduce operational costs and harmful emissions compared to a diesel-powered sweeper. In addition, they operate more quietly, which means increased flexibility when scheduling sweeping tasks and reduced overall operational noise.
