WattWorks: Electric Vehicle Leadership Bootcamp

Join the Electrification Coalition and the University of Chicago’s Institute for Climate and Sustainable Growth on Thursday, November 5, 2026, for a peer-to-peer bootcamp connecting state agencies, municipal fleet and sustainability managers, and commercial sector leaders working on transportation electrification in the Midwest.

This interactive event will cover the wide-ranging benefits of public and private fleet electrification, as well as the resources and tools needed for planning and procurement. We will also discuss policy opportunities to mobilize local leaders and help them overcome barriers to the deployment of light-, medium-, and heavy-duty electric vehicles (EVs) in their fleets. Government leaders and industry experts will also discuss the state of the market, the policy landscape, the latest technological developments, and the experiences of public- and private-sector fleets transitioning to EVs.
Coffee and lunch will be provided. If you have any questions about the event, please contact the Electrification Coalition’s Laura Galang at lgalang@electrificationcoalition.org.
