From Planning to Power On: Deploying Electric School Buses with Confidence

On December 12, 2024, the Electrification Coalition hosted an insightful webinar discussing the deployment of electric school buses alongside experts from ComEd, Highland Electric Fleets, and Three Rivers Community Schools. Our speakers shared numerous resources designed to help school districts navigate critical aspects of electric school bus adoption, including federal and state funding opportunities, best practices for procurement and deployment, and technical assistance for infrastructure and vehicle-to-grid technology installation. The resilience and public health benefits of electric school buses were also discussed.
