Michigan Clean Bus Energy Grant (CBEG): Round 2

During this webinar, speakers discussed the second round of the Michigan Clean Bus Energy Grant (CBEG) Program, sharing the most up-to-date information available ahead of the October 12 application deadline.

More specifically, speakers provided:

  • a comprehensive overview of the Michigan CBEG Program, including eligibility criteria and the application process;
  • best practices and essential considerations for deploying electric school buses (ESBs) from utility industry experts;
  • practical advice on integrating ESBs into charging schedules using existing infrastructure;
  • and examples of success stories and key outcomes from Round 1 of the program, including a firsthand account from a school district that successfully put ESBs on the road.

To access the resources shared by our speakers, download the slide deck (pdf). Please feel free to reach out to EC Policy Associate Carolyn Bidó at cbido@electrificationcoalition.org with any questions about the Michigan CBEG Program, or about electric school bus deployment in general.
