Indiana has already taken important steps toward an electrified transportation future, with actions by the state government, local governments, non-governmental organizations, and the private sector, including utilities and EV companies. Indiana’s future prosperity will be shaped by its ability to keep pace in adopting and guiding this transformation.
Learn more about the policies, strategies, and partners that can help the Hoosier State accelerate electrification in our Indiana EV Policy Landscape. This document reflects input from a wide range of on-the-ground stakeholders and builds upon the insights of previous roadmaps and guidance documents, including those developed by the EC. It reviews transportation’s current impacts to public health, safety, and the economy, and it identifies a set of high-impact areas of engagement.
On April 14, the EC hosted an Indiana EV Policy Bootcamp aimed at decision-makers and industry experts, as well as transportation and community advocates. Amy Malaki is the Director of Partnerships and Policy at SkyNRG and SkyNRG Americas, pioneering global leaders in sustainable aviation fuel production and supply. Prior to SkyNRG, Amy was the Associate Director for the transportation portfolio at the ClimateWorks Foundation where she developed philanthropic investment strategies to advance a sustainable, equitable and low-carbon mobility system. She also pioneered the organization’s international aviation decarbonization strategy. Prior to that she focused on Asia business development at Better Place, a Silicon Valley electric vehicle network startup. She has a B.A. in Chinese and China studies from the University of Washington and an M.A. in international policy studies (energy and environment) from Stanford University.
