Annual Fleet Electrification Survey

The Electrification Coalition is launching its first annual Fleet Electrification Survey to better understand the real-world challenges and opportunities facing fleet managers.

Fleet electrification decisions get made every day in cities and counties nationwide, but the data driving national conversations rarely comes from the people doing the work. The Electrification Coalition (EC) built this survey to close that gap.

Fleet Electrification Landscape

The survey is designed to capture the experiences of all fleets, from those just beginning to explore EVs to those already deploying them at scale.

Questions are built around what actually stalls or advances a project on the ground – procurement pathways, staffing and technical capacity, and the day-to-day realities that shape what’s possible before cost or vehicle availability even enter the picture. 

Responses will be fully anonymized and combined into a public, non-commercial dataset that will help inform the EC’s future tools, technical assistance, and educational resources. The findings will also be shared with federal and state policymakers, agencies and utilities to ensure that decisions are grounded in the needs of fleet operators.

The survey takes just minutes to complete and asks for basic information about your fleet: fleet size, current EV adoption, 2026 procurement plans, and the barriers and resources that most impact your electrification efforts. 

We’ll use and share what we learn to shape the tools, policy, and technical assistance we build next, and to bring credible, ground-level data into what moves the needle next on fleet electrification.

Amy Malaki

Amy Malaki is the head of policy and sustainability at SkyNRG and SkyNRG Americas, pioneering global leaders in sustainable aviation fuel production and supply. Prior to SkyNRG, Amy was the associate director for the transportation portfolio at the ClimateWorks Foundation where she developed philanthropic investment strategies to advance a sustainable, equitable and low-carbon mobility system. She also pioneered the organization’s international aviation decarbonization strategy. Prior to that she focused on Asia business development at Better Place, a Silicon Valley electric vehicle network startup. She has a B.A. in Chinese and China studies from the University of Washington and an M.A. in international policy studies (energy and environment) from Stanford University.
