Port Electrification East

Ports are actively pursuing the reduction of carbon emissions through the electrification of their core operations and activities such as shore powering, cargo handling, and drayage. However, the electrification of port operations poses a complex challenge, necessitating a comprehensive strategy, infrastructure modernization, substantial funding, and close collaboration and partnership among port authorities, terminal operators, federal and state regulators, policy leaders, utilities, and solution providers.

That’s why Global Transmission is organizing its 2nd annual Port Electrification East conference at The Westin Jersey City Newport on November 13–14 to highlight opportunities and solutions for the electrification of ports on the East Coast. The conference will feature insightful presentations from, and engaging panel discussions with, experts from port authorities, terminal operators, government agencies, and industry.

The event is ongoing.
