The inaugural SAFE Summit: A Pathway to Electrification from Minerals to Market, was held at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center in Washington, DC on March 28-29, 2023.
The 2023 Summit convened 600 attendees from 16 countries representing industry, NGOs, and government officials from the US, EU, NATO, and trading partners. The agenda featured diverse perspectives from elected officials and C-suite executives representing the electric vehicle value chain, from upstream critical mineral producers to automotive manufactures and charging infrastructure developers. The 2024 Summit will build on this success and examine how shifting geopolitical dynamics are shaping the energy transition. The agenda will offer a systems approach to addressing energy security, climate change, and reindustrialization while building the new global economy.
