Atlanta’s 2025 EV Readiness Workbook

Developed in close consultation with the EC, the City of Atlanta’s 2025 EV Readiness Workbook is a practical guide to help property owners, developers, fleet managers, and community partners accelerate electric vehicle charging across the city. It reflects proven practices, permitting lessons, and real-world deployment insights from projects across Atlanta, instituting requirements for charging infrastructure in new construction, fire safety and accessibility, and more.

The Workbook won the City of Atlanta Electric Innovation’s 2025 Policy Innovation Award, which included a $10,000 cash prize to be used to deploy charging infrastructure in Atlanta.
