DriveEVFleets.org

DriveEVFleets.org is a turnkey, one-stop, online procurement portal for public fleets. This portal enables U.S. and Canadian state and local government agencies and public and private educational entities, from K–12 through higher education, to access competitively solicited contracts for electric vehicles (EVs) and charging infrastructure, as well as information on innovative financing solutions and best practices for EV procurement and deployment.

DriveEVFleets.org harnesses the collective buying power of public fleets to accelerate vehicle electrification. These fleets are often ideal candidates for EV replacement due to high utilization and extended downtime in dedicated depots. These factors can lead to simplified operations and significant fuel and maintenance savings compared to internal combustion engine vehicles.

Introducing DriveEVFleets.org

On Thursday, April 17, the Electrification Coalition and Sourcewell hosted a webinar-walkthrough of DriveEVFleets.org. Our speakers—Mike Domin, associate director of cooperative contracts for fleets at Sourcewell; Ben Prochazka, executive director of the Electrification Coalition; and Torin Spencer, program manager for the Electrification Coalition—discussed the tools and resources available through DriveEVFleets.org and why they are important for public fleets.
