Veterans for EVs Webinar—American Made: Combating China’s Industrial Dominance Through EV Leadership

This webinar, hosted by the Electrification Coalition’s Veterans for EVs initiative and featuring remarks from Sen. Tammy Duckworth, examined how Chinese control over lithium, cobalt, and rare earth elements (REE) creates vulnerabilities for both our defense capabilities and our competitiveness in the global civilian automotive market. Our distinguished panel of veteran experts explored the intersection of national security and industrial strategy, discussing how American manufacturing leadership in key sectors, including electric vehicles, defense technologies, and advanced energy technologies, is essential for maintaining our competitive edge and protecting our national interests.
